Q3: What is the difference between this course and the free materials I can get at the website or YouTube?
A3: The videos from this course were recorded on site at Charis Colorado during the actual classes. These classes are not uploaded on any of our websites. Only students who are enrolled for the course have access to them by logging in to the student platform with their credentials.
Q4: Is there a timeline requirement to complete Charis Online? When can I enroll?
A4: Completion Requirement: Distance Learning is a self-paced program and you can start at any time. However, you must complete Charis Online within 24 months if you want to progress to Year 2 of the program.

Q5: Is there interaction with other students?
A5: If you are from Hong Kong or Taiwan, we encourage you to enroll in our Full Time Hybrid Program where you will have a lot of interaction with other students in Charis. Singapore and Malaysia English speakers will have a monthly ZOOM discussion group. All other students may have the opportunity to meet and interact with other students, alumni and partners in events throughout the year, such as graduation, Christmas Party and other student events (if applicable to your country).
Q6: Is this course only for pastors, missionaries, and those in full time ministry?
A6: Our students come from all walks of life. Whether you are a new believer, leader in some capacity or pastoring a church, you will benefit greatly from over 330 hours of solid, Word-based teachings. Our self-paced program includes videos, course outlines and transcripts to guide you in your learning.
Q7: For Charis Online, is the content (videos etc) downloadable to be watched offline, or is it for online streaming only?
A7: Charis Online: The content, including videos, is available for online streaming only. You can’t download the videos for offline viewing. You can download the course syllabus
Q8: Do I own the classes forever?
A8: Upon completing Year 2, you will become a Charis Bible College Alumni. You will have access to all Year 1 and 2 classes.
Q9: Is there other homework assignments or tests?
A9: Assignments include watching your video lessons and completing the tests after each course, which consists of Multiple Choice Questions or True/False questions. You are also required to read through the entire Bible once within your year 1 course.
