A Word from our Founder
Every successful minister goes through school. It’s just a matter of whether it’s in a formal educational setting with experienced instructors ready to help, or an informal one through the “school of hard knocks,” alone. I took the latter route, and I must say, if you survive, it makes a great testimony. However, I don’t recommend it!
The Lord led me to start Charis Bible College for the purpose of training people for the work of the ministry. He wanted me to take a unique approach; it had to be a combination of the rich teaching of God’s Word and practical, hands-on ministry experience.
This was modeled in the Old Testament by Elijah and Elisha with the school of the prophets and in the New Testament when Paul told Timothy to train faithful men to teach others. With this combination, I knew our graduates would be able to avoid many of the problems and hardships I encountered; they would be well prepared.
Whatever God is leading you to do, preparation is never a waste of time. Statistics show that 80% of ministers drop out of the ministry, and 80% of those who stay are on the verge of burnout. I believe the lack of preparation, spiritually, academically, and practically are at the root of these statistics.
Charis Bible College instructors have accumulated decades of experience in ministry, and their experience may very well keep you from becoming a statistic. Two years of preparation is a small price to pay for a lifetime of successful ministry.
If the Lord is speaking to you about attending CBC, call or write and request a catalog. It will help you in your decision. If you choose to attend, I guarantee you it will change your life and the lives of those around you forever.

A Word from Cindy
Being captivated by the simplicity of Andrew’s teaching: uncomplicated but profound, I was hooked. Grace is the ultimate message of freedom. I realized how much I had been striving. Now I see how much Jesus has ALREADY done for me. There is no begging or pleading with God anymore.
After ten years of work in Asia with orphans and the disabled, I was in a desert place…
…until I began listening to Andrew Wommack. That led to me taking the first year correspondence course for Charis Bible College (CBC), then eventually moving to Colorado for the second and third year, in an environment that encouraged transformation. Because I love Asians and want them to know the same freedom, I have returned to Asia to become the new director of CBC Hong Kong.
My heart for you is to have a deep, intimate life with our loving Father and the freedom that comes from Jesus’s finished work. It is life transforming and will impact the lives of those around you.

A Word from Mike
I remember vividly the first time I ever heard Andrew Wommack teach. In 2007, he came to my church in Chicago and taught on how to Find, Follow, and Fulfill the Will of God. As he spoke, it was like my spirit leapt within me! I knew I was hearing Truth, and I never felt more excited in my life. At the end of Andrew’s message, he shared about his Bible College, and I knew that I needed to attend. Three short years later, I had become a Charis graduate, and my life was changed forever.
I finally had confidence in the goodness and love of God, and I understood that I don’t have to perform for God’s approval. Praise God — He already fully accepts me, and that is never going to change!
Once I understood His character and nature, I was able to start walking in mine. Charis launched me into a wonderful journey of letting Christ live in me and through me, enforcing the authority that was purchased for me by Jesus, and discovering the God-given purpose that I was ordained to live out.
If you are a Christian, and you’ve got a hunger to go deeper in your relationship with God, then Charis is for you! You will never be more excited about the Word of God…AND the God of the Word. He’s a wonderful Father, and He loves you more than you will ever be able to comprehend.
